Pujiang Innovation Forum to kick off

The 2023 Pujiang Innovation Forum will take place from Sept 9 to 11 in Shanghai with more than 300 guests from 32 countries and regions to attend, according to official sources.
With a theme centered around "Open Innovation Ecosystem: Innovation for Global Connectivity", the 2023 Pujiang Innovation Forum aims to serve as a national-level platform for global technological innovation communications and collaboration, said Chen Hongkai, an official from the Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality.
In its 16th year, the Pujiang Innovation Forum continues to play its role as a source of cutting-edge innovative ideas, a pioneer of world scientific and technological development, the booster of international scientific and technological cooperation, a core for attracting global innovative talents and a hub of global technology transfer, as the city builds itself into an international technological innovation center, Chen said.
The event will consist of an opening ceremony, a plenary conference, two themed forums, 9 special forums, a global venture capital conference and a global technology transfer conference, among other activities.
Jointly hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Shanghai municipal government, this year's country of honor is Brazil and the province of honor is Hubei province.
