The China Service Industry Brand Forum took place at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center on May 12. Sponsored by the Pudong New Area people's government, the forum aimed to boost the competitiveness of Chinese service brands and showcase their appeal on a global scale.

Government officials, experts and business representatives convened at the forum, which serves as a sub-forum of the International Forum on China Brand Development, to discuss strategies for promoting Chinese service brands to facilitate efficient and high-quality development in the sector.

Gong Zhenzhu, deputy director of the industrial development department at the National Development and Reform Commission, emphasized the importance of brand building in improving service quality, efficiency, and meeting market demands. He encouraged more focus on publicity and guidance, as well as developing a nurturing mechanism and refining the standard system to foster "premium signs" and "century-old shops".

Qiu Wenjin, deputy director of the Shanghai Municipal Development and Reform Commission, spoke about Shanghai's initiatives since 2018, including a series of events for the China Brand Day to support brand development.

Representatives from various sectors participated in the forum and shared their experiences and industry connections. Notably, Shanghai Microport Medbot (Group) Co focused on technological innovation within the medical industry, while Tramy Group advocated for providing "safe, delicious, and affordable" products to consumers.
