Zhangjiang zone promotes itself at international tech fair

Zhangjiang National Innovation Demonstration Zone in Pudong New Area, Shanghai displayed its latest scientific and technological innovation achievements at the 8th China (Shanghai) International Technology Fair, which was held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center from April 15 to 17.
Covering an exhibition area of about 600 square meters, the Zhangjiang booth exhibited nearly 100 scientific and technological innovation achievements made by leading companies based in the zone, which were involved in areas like artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing, biomedicine and medical devices, information technology, as well as integrated circuits.
Additionally, the zone also launched a series of activities to showcase its intelligent application scenarios, each of which were a hit at the expo.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the zone's establishment. Over the past 10 years, it has grown into a cradle for strategic emerging industries and innovation. Zhangjiang has become a frontline area for innovation in Shanghai. By the end of last year, up to 330 national-level research and development institutions have been set up in the zone. More than 100,000 technology companies have also been registered there.
