A service center for China Mobile Group Shanghai Co Ltd was official launched at Lin-gang Special Area in Shanghai on Dec 20.

The center was built to meet the developmental demands of the special area – and to further the company's cooperation with the area in 4G network optimization and the application of 5G there.

The center will join in hands with the company's branches and partners to provide comprehensive communications services to enterprises and institutions based in the special area.

Wu Xiaohua, executive deputy director of the administrative committee of Lin-gang Special Area, said since the area was established, a number of export-oriented projects have settled down there and the center will help further develop its export-oriented economy.

In 2019, China Mobile Group Shanghai Co Ltd launched a department for submarine cable landing and has been working on the construction of a research and development base for internet data in the special area.
