The New Bund Riverfront Plaza, a flagship commercial office project in Shanghai's Pudong New Area, has entered the global leasing phase, adding momentum to the "One New Bund" plan to develop international business landmarks, developer Lujiazui Group said.
Located in Qiantan, the project forms part of a broader development pattern integrating the Qiantan central business district, central living district, the planned Sanlin Xintiandi and the riverside business belt, reflecting Qiantan's shift towards more integrated urban development.
Designed by Foster + Partners, Fuksas and DCA, the project covers about 220,000 square meters. It comprises 11 low-density garden office buildings for sale, six Grade A office buildings retained by the developer, around 9,000 sq m of waterfront commercial space and a 20,000-sq-m shopping center.
Set along the Huangpu River, the development combines premium offices, landscaped gardens and retail facilities, catering to business activities, family leisure and community life.
Targeting headquarters operations and financial technology, the project is expected to attract businesses with international ambitions, strengthen the industrial ecosystem of the Qiantan riverside business belt and support Pudong's development as a fintech hub.
