Pudong International Airport is preparing for increased international travel during the upcoming National Day holiday, with upgraded facilities and tailored services helping to ensure smooth passenger flows.

With 12,000 aircraft movements and 1.95 million passenger trips expected this National Day holiday, the airport has launched a "slow service zone" for the elderly, providing free luggage storage for solo travelers aged 65 and above. An "infant-friendly space" near Gate C77 in Terminal 2 satisfies family travelers' demands for breastfeeding, care and rest.

At Terminal 2, 90 smart inspection lanes have been fully upgraded, integrating passport reading, facial recognition and data collection to improve clearance efficiency.

To better serve international travelers, the airport operates a 24-hour one-stop service center offering assistance with payments, travel, communications and transport.

Multilingual robots, barrier-free facilities and other traveler-friendly services will further improve the passenger experience during the holiday travel rush.
