Pudong New Area is building a full-chain innovation ecosystem for "one-person companies" (OPCs), integrating AI resources, entrepreneurship support, and community services to help individual innovators turn ideas into market-ready products.

In Zhangjiang, the newly launched Digital Nomad OPC Ecosystem Community has introduced China's first forest-based shared office community, where entrepreneurs can work, learn, and connect in a natural setting.

Located in Zhangjiang, the community integrates three key spaces — Sci-Tech Innovation Courtyard, Youth Innovation Home and Model Forest — and provides office, accommodation, networking and incubation services for OPC entrepreneurs.

The forest-based innovation hub features glass cabins, modular offices, shared meeting spaces, livestreaming rooms, and outdoor roadshow areas, creating a flexible environment where digital economy activities can thrive alongside nature.

Beyond the workspace, Pudong is also developing innovation accelerators. The "Super Individual · AI + Healthcare Bootcamp" brings together industry scenarios, skilled professionals, and OPC networks to support low-cost, high-efficiency AI healthcare innovation.

Held as a dedicated incubation platform for the 8th Pudong New Area Artificial Intelligence Innovation Application Competition, the bootcamp helped create 14 AI projects spanning medical research, chronic disease management, and elder care.

Through initiatives that link competition channels, industrial resources, and entrepreneurship communities, Pudong aims to build a supportive environment where individual innovators can collaborate, access opportunities, and accelerate technological breakthroughs.
