Pudong advances embodied intelligence ecosystem

Pudong is accelerating the development of its embodied intelligence industry through investments in advanced computing labs, robotics platforms, and ecosystem initiatives. The push comes as breakthroughs emerge in domain-specific architecture (DSA), Elite Robots commercialization, and AgiBot open-source ecosystem projects, strengthening the district's momentum in the field.

The DSA Computing Laboratory was launched at Shanghai Pudong Software Park, jointly built by the RISC-V Ecosystem & Industry of China Electronics Standardization Association and industry partners to advance specialized computing for AI industry applications.

Experts said the initiative reflects a shift from general-purpose computing to domain-specific architecture, addressing AI efficiency bottlenecks by using RISC-V-based designs to optimize performance for industry-specific workloads and applications in the global AI sector today.

Elite Robots, based on Pudong AI Island, reported significant progress in its "One Brain, Multiple Forms" strategy. The company has validated its embodied large model through pilot projects and deployed more than 500 real-world application scenarios across multiple industries.

Meanwhile, AgiBot introduced Lingxi X2 EDU for education and research, along with the YuanSheng Ecological Development Plan and the open-sourced AGIBOT WORLD 2026 dataset. The second phase of the initiative, themed "Diverse Interaction," focuses on advancing physical human-robot interaction supporting the next generation of robotics education and ecosystem development.

Together, these developments underscore Pudong's commitment to building a full-chain embodied intelligence ecosystem spanning computing infrastructure, robotics platforms, and data resources, further strengthening its position as a global hub for intelligent industry innovation.
