Shanghai Eastern Hub International Business Cooperation Zone (IBCZ) hosted the Middle East-Shanghai Investment Service Promotion Conference on June 9, showcasing major cooperation outcomes and forming a precise two-way cooperation platform between Shanghai and the Middle East.

The event marked the launch of the Middle East-Shanghai Investment Service Alliance and the Country/Region Project Roadshow Center, aimed at strengthening trust, information sharing, and project promotion between regional enterprises and global partners.

Pudong New Area Enterprise Going Global Comprehensive Service Center Middle East Office was also unveiled to provide professional and efficient support for companies expanding overseas, while the zone's policies and strategic location offer key advantages for Middle Eastern capital and businesses seeking market entry.

Shanghai Eastern Hub introduced three priority platforms — international headquarters, commodity trade exhibitions, and cross-border collaborative innovation — to serve high-end manufacturing and digital technology firms while streamlining trade and innovation channels between the Middle East and China.

Organizers also announced cooperation with China State Construction Sixth and Eighth Bureaus in Middle East construction markets, THi's "Middle East special line," and projects in renewable energy, smart cities, low-altitude economy, biomedicine, and new urban development.

The China-Arab (Shanghai) New Productivity Expo Cooperation Initiative, cross-border industrial funds, and incubation platforms aim to accelerate technology transfer, enterprise scaling, and project implementation between regions.

Building on events such as the 2026 Appliance & Electronics World Expo (AWE 2026), the promotion conference underlines the zone's growing investment services. Shanghai Eastern Hub will continue to expand its platforms, optimize services, and accelerate project implementation to strengthen two-way cooperation with the Middle East and beyond.
