Pudong New Area is presenting a series of seasonal floral landscapes this May, with begonia displays at Shanghai Expo Culture Park, blooming Chinese roses in Qiantan, rhododendron scenery at Shanghai Binjiang Forest Park, and hydrangea fields in Zhoupu Flower Sea, offering residents and visitors immersive spring nature experiences.

At the Conservatory Garden Hall 3 in Shanghai Expo Culture Park, a begonia-themed botanical exhibition runs through May 31, featuring 74 varieties. The display highlights foliage texture, color gradients and plant form, creating an immersive greenhouse landscape focused on ornamental leaf aesthetics.

At Qiantan Riverside Area, the Chinese rose garden is in full bloom, with layered floral corridors forming a riverside landscape. Thousands of Rosa chinensis plants create a continuous seasonal flower display along walking paths beside the Huangpu River.

At Shanghai Binjiang Forest Park, rhododendrons are blooming across the hillside, alongside native woodland vegetation and a misting system. The park's layered ecological design creates a semi-natural habitat that enhances seasonal flower viewing and biodiversity experiences.

At Zhoupu Flower Sea in Pudong, hydrangeas are in peak season, forming large-scale floral fields in shades of blue, pink, purple and white. The landscape integrates streams, open lawns and garden paths, offering visitors immersive walking experiences among seasonal blooms.

Across Pudong's parks and green spaces, floral landscapes are being integrated with ecological restoration and urban leisure functions, reinforcing the area's strategy of combining natural scenery with cultural tourism to enhance public access to seasonal outdoor experiences.
