Over 500 AI products from more than 100 brands are available for hands-on testing and purchase at the newly opened AI Matrix Store in Shanghai's Zhangjiang AI Innovation Town, allowing residents the chance to experience how artificial intelligence shapes future lifestyles through first-hand interaction.

Opened on May 11, the nearly 2,000-square-meter space departs from traditional "display-only" tech venues by encouraging visitors to touch, test and interact with real products. The store features six themed zones, including robot interaction, creator workshops and AI healthcare experiences.

Among the most popular attractions is an AI health screening system that generates a rapid health assessment report within 90 seconds through non-contact sensing technology. The system provides reference indicators for key vital signs, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and blood oxygen levels, attracting long lines of visitors.

In the wearable technology zone, visitors can try AI translation earbuds that enable real-time multilingual communication. After connecting via an app and selecting language channels, spoken content is instantly translated during face-to-face conversations — a process that improves the efficiency of cross-language interaction.

The store also showcases stringless smart guitars equipped with AI-assisted learning systems. LED indicators guide users through chord positions, allowing beginners to quickly play simple songs with built-in accompaniment supporting multiple music styles, including rock and punk.

According to operators, the AI Matrix Store aims to serve as a global launch platform for AI products and a gateway for startups expanding overseas. Located in Zhangjiang AI Innovation Town, which hosts more than 500 AI companies, the venue is expected to shorten product testing and validation cycles from six months to three months.
