Pudong showcases culinary diversity with global flavors
With the Global Taste in Shanghai and Pudong Spring Festival Carnival in full swing, Pudong New Area is showing the vibrancy of its culinary landscape.
Pudong has added more than 100 international restaurants per year for two consecutive years, more than any other Shanghai district. The area is now home to more than 1,700 global cuisine outlets, with European and American cuisines leading citywide distribution.
Bella Vita, located in the Florentia Village, serves pizzas made with 48-hour slow-fermented dough and baked in traditional Italian wood-fired ovens. During this year's "European Flavor Season", the restaurant is offering special set menus featuring signature dishes, including its 2018 championship-winning pizza.
The Latina Brazilian Steakhouse stays true to authentic Churrasco, a Brazilian-style barbecue. Offering more than 30 types of grilled meats alongside a buffet of over 60 Brazilian dishes, the restaurant has expanded to multiple locations in major commercial areas such as Lujiazui and Zhangjiang.

More than 100 restaurants in Pudong have joined the Global Taste in Shanghai program, presenting cuisines ranging from Mediterranean meals to Northern European delights. Pudong is also exploring a new model that integrates global cuisine with culture and sports, creating immersive dining experiences tied to concerts, exhibitions, and other events.
Building on the Global Taste in Shanghai program, Pudong will continue to cultivate culinary landmarks across its commercial hubs and neighborhoods, inviting locals and visitors to explore the district's gastronomic offerings.
