Pudong robotic firms accelerate industry innovation
The robotics industry in Shanghai's Pudong New Area is experiencing rampant growth, with emerging products, technologies, and application scenarios rapidly reshaping the landscape.
Kepler recently showcased China's first human-robot collaborative high-altitude welding. Powered by whole-body VR teleoperation, the company's K2 "Bumblebee" robot enables operators to stay out of danger while experiencing a multimodal immersive environment integrating force-based, visual, tactile, and auditory cues.

Throughout eight hours of continuous operation, the robot records force-control and trajectory-adjustment data from each maneuver, building an experiential dataset to support subsequent autonomous optimization.
Meanwhile, AgiBot has opened its first overseas robotics experience center in Malaysia, making it the country's first AI robotics experience center.
AgiBot's full lineup of robots took on a wide range of roles at the center. The D1 series performed a lion dance alongside the rhythmic 24 Festive Drums played by the X2 series, combining traditional culture with advanced technology. The D1 series showcased off-road parkour capabilities, with multiple units engaging in competitions in the arena.

The center will serve as an Asia-Pacific benchmark for AI-physical integration, advancing an AgiBot-centered embodied intelligence ecosystem. The company looks forward to collaborating with local institutions, research centers, and industry partners to explore robotics applications in manufacturing, healthcare, and beyond.
