Siemens Healthineers, a global medical solution provider with a deep presence in Pudong, will participate in the expo for the eighth year in a row, with an exhibition area of 1,000 square meters – its largest ever.
The company plans to showcase cutting-edge products such as the world's first life-sensing PET/MR scanner Biograph One and the world's first 2.5-second ultra-fast imaging spectral angiography system ARTIS icono ceiling Xpand, as well as its breakthroughs in medical AI.
Having been present in China for 31 years, Novo Nordisk, a global healthcare company from Denmark, has introduced 22 innovative drugs and 11 innovative injection devices to the country. Among them, 10 drugs and devices debuted at the CIIE. The world's only once-weekly insulin, Awiqli, entered the market after its debut at the 2024 CIIE in November and was included in China's national medical insurance catalogue.
This year, Novo Nordisk will have a large, 800-square-meter booth and present two clinical research results.
L'Oreal Group, a French beauty giant with an R&D and innovation center in Pudong, is another eight-time CIIE participant and has already signed up for the ninth edition, making it the first beauty company to commit.
According to the CEO of L'Oreal China, Vincent Boinay, the CIIE brings together innovative talent, stimulates new ideas, and builds a bridge for cross-industry cooperation, which is why the company is so committed to the expo.
