Shanghai's Pudong New Area has launched a tourist information service counter in Terminal 1 of Pudong International Airport, designed to support the summer travel peak.
The new counter integrates resources on transportation, cultural tourism, and creative products, offering one-stop services for all travelers. The counter aims to enhance the travel experience from the moment visitors arrive.
Located near the main exit gates of the international arrivals area, the counter features a bold rose-pink design to ensure visibility.
Travelers can access multilingual guidebooks in Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean. These guidebooks provide essential information on popular attractions such as Lujiazui, Shanghai Disney Resort, and Pudong Art Museum. They also include helpful details on metro routes, local cuisine, and tax refund services.
The counter features locally curated cultural and creative products that reflect Pudong's blend of technology and culture. Featured items include AR glasses by tech firm Xreal, traditional book-shaped lamps from Shenyuan Garden, and orca plush toys from Haichang Ocean Park.
In addition to providing tourism consultations and maps, the counter also plans to collaborate with other airport facilities to develop more refined and convenient services for travelers.
