Summer comes with loads of nightlife fun!
Shanghai's nightlife is famous for its diversity and vibrancy. From late-night bookstores and food establishments to nightclubs and bars, the city's social scene does not stop at dusk.
Established in 2020, the Shanghai Night Festival will run from June 1 to Sept 30 this year. Various commercial districts, neighborhoods, and landmarks will be hosting a wide array of activities in the evenings, both online and offline.
This weekend, numerous activities were launched at popular landmarks across the city, setting the stage for a summer of excitement!
European Championship Viewing Activity
Date: June 1 - July 14
Location: FOUND 158
As the watching venue for the European Championship, FOUND 158's viewing activities will take place over the course of five weeks. During this period, local and foreign anchors will be invited for live commentary, with live streaming available on platforms like Douyin and Xiaohongshu.
The event will feature a team jersey wall, a table football competition, and interactive AR/VR soccer games.
The event will join hands with businesses to offer themed disco party tickets, signature cocktails, and European Championship viewing snack combos, providing a one-stop food and entertainment experience for attendees.
Xintiandi Flower Market
Date: June 8 - June 10
Location: Xintiandi Taipingqiao Park Green Space
The Xintiandi Flower Market, spanning an area of nearly 2,000 square meters, not only showcases nearly 600,000 fresh flowers, but also hosts merchants from local plant nurseries and merchants from flower and bird markets.
It's worth mentioning that the flower market is pet friendly. Visitors can bring their pets so that they can enjoy the open grassy areas. A designated play area for furry friends has also been organized.
Bailian Night
Date: June 1 - June 10
Locations: Qingpu Outlet, The River Mall, First Yaohan Mall, Lianhua Supermarket, Bailian YouYiCheng, Shanghai Women's Goods Store, and more.
"Bailian Night" brings together a hundred cross-over activities including night shopping, art markets, night performances, night running and yoga classes. Consumers can check out the Qingpu Outlet Life Festival, the River Mall Food Festival, the Lianhua Dynamic Sports Festival, and the Bailian YouYicheng French Summer Solstice Music Festival, among other exciting events.
Yoga Lifestyle Festival

Locations: Century Square of Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, Peace Hotel, Shanghai Seagull Hotel
Yoga lifestyle brand BYMB is joining hands with Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street to launch the 2024 Shanghai Yoga Lifestyle Festival, which promises an unforgettable experience for yoga lovers.
Two yoga sessions will be held on June 7 at Nanjing Road's Century Square. A different morning session will be held on June 8, along the eastern extension of Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street (near the Bund - Peace Hotel). Two more sessions will also be held at the Shanghai Seagull Hotel on June 8.
In addition to the above-mentioned events, the 4th Bund Art Season will be held to promote a wide range of activities, such as art exhibitions, public installations, art salons, and art markets. These activities will be held at the BFC Bund Financial Center, the Fosun Foundation building, and Yuyuan Shopping Mall, promising to be an artistic feast for art enthusiasts.
The 7th "Play Me, I'm Yours" event will be held at the SSG Xintiandi. By integrating artificial intelligence with public art, this event aims to create a unique urban nightlife experience.
