Pudong launches projects to advance ecological conservation
Pudong New Area in Shanghai has launched 85 projects with a combined investment of 20.42 billion yuan ($2.94 billion) to advance green development and ecological conservation.
In recent years, Pudong has applied a new development philosophy and followed a path of prioritizing ecological conservation and pursuing green development. The area has taken comprehensive steps to advance ecological conservation, promoted afforestation and improved urban living conditions.
These projects include the construction of ecological corridors, the second phase of the Binjiang Forest Park, and the expansion of a sewage treatment plant.
