Shanghai exit-entry service hall resumes normal operations
Starting on June 1, the service hall of the Exit-Entry Administration Bureau of Shanghai Public Security Bureau (No 1500 Minsheng Road, Pudong New Area) has resumed normal operations.
According to a notice issued on May 31, the bureau will expedite the processing of exit-entry documents for those who need to travel abroad for purposes such as epidemic prevention and control, medical assistance, disaster relief materials transportation, and transportation of production and living materials.
It also pertains to those participating in key engineering projects, studying abroad, visiting patients in critical condition, attending weddings and taking part in key programs of pandemic control overseas.
Applicants are required to make an appointment in advance through the city's one-stop government service platforms and bring all relevant documents and materials.
People who go to the service hall should wear a mask and show a negative nucleic acid test result taken within 72 hours. The on-site staff will also check people's venue codes, health codes, itinerary codes and temperatures.
During the pandemic, people without urgent needs are advised to continue to stay in the country.
The bureau's service hotline 12367 is also open for consultation.
