Nation's leading ODM enterprise establishes global R&D headquarters in Pudong

Huaqin Technology Company, a global leading enterprise specialized in smart hardware products, established its global research and development (R&D) headquarters in Beicai town, Pudong New Area, East China's Shanghai, according to an announcement made at the company's commencement ceremony on Jan 4.
The company, which was founded in Shanghai in 2005, offers end-to-end product development, manufacturing, and software and hardware systems to global techonology companies. It is a 16-year-old company that is now a leading ODM (original design manufacturer) enterprise in the country.
In recent years, its has beefed up efforts to boost its R&D capabilities by increasing investment and applying high-level talents. It now has a R&D group of more than 10,000 people that holds 796 valid invention patents.
The establishment of its global R&D headquarters in Pudong is of great importance for Huaqin to expand its global footprint. Construction of the project is expected to be completed in 2024, and local authorities said that the project will drive the town's economic growth and high-quality development.
The Huaqin global R&D headquarters will deepen cooperation with world-class tech giants after it becomes operational, and will develop itself into a high-level technology innovation platform.
By integrating R&D, product design, and intelligent manufacturing, the global R&D headquarters is expected to promote the innovative development of Pudong's manufacturing industry.
