Shen Hui, founder of Weltmeister Motor, said that when the company was founded, he also considered putting the production base in the port to take advantage of the relevant policies. However, considering the free trade zone is more focused on trade and finance, he set up the headquarters in Shanghai and placed the manufacturing base in Zhejiang. 

If the new areas are added, he hoped that in addition to trade and finance, it can increase support for the real economy and provide more preferential policies in taxation, investment and financing.

Lu Shoufu, president of Shanghai Aqbiopharma Co, said that the housing price of Silicon Valley is not cheap, but entrepreneurs gravitate to its climate of innovation and policy freedom. He wondered if the regulations could be revised to create a more convenient and more relaxed entrepreneurial environment.

"If we fail to do a good job in environmental protection in the construction of the free trade zone, we will have regrets," said Wei Zhengkang, general manager of Shanghai Greencycle Machinery Co.

He believes that the free trade zone should be developed with both gold and silver mountains and clear water and green mountains.

He suggested that environmental protection should be regarded as an important planning factor in the construction of the free trade zone, and it should be refined and improved in the legislation.
