Zhangjiang firm ranks among Top 10 worth investing IoT companies
HiScene, a hi-tech startup located in Shanghai's Zhangjiang area, recently won an honorary title as the Top 10 Worth Investing Companies in the field of Internet of Things (IoT), according to a list released during an artificial intelligence industrial investment summit.
The company, founded in 2012, focuses on the R&D of augmented reality (AR) technology. Its independently-developed product HiAR Glasses won the German Red Dot Award in 2017.
The HiAR Glasses, first of its kind in China, is capable of voice recognition and pose tracking, and makes AR industrial operation training, AR industrial patrolling, and AR industrial remote guidance possible, breaking through the limits of screen and space.
The company has already reached a deal with Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The HiAR Glasses can be employed to teach students standard procedures of disassembling generators.
Students who wear the glasses can see real-time models, 3D animation, videos, pictures, and words. They can also practice while learning, which can greatly improve their learning efficiency.
Staff members of HiScene said that the award encourages them to keep pursuing innovation and achievements.
