Zhangjiang Incubator inks cooperation deal with Pan Asia
A cooperation deal has been reached between Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center and Zhangjiang Incubator Management, Pudong Times reported on Sept 4.
The cooperation is expected to bridge the innovative resources of Pan Asia and Zhangjiang, enhance exchanges between professionals in auto and related industries, and promote the electronic, internet-connected, intelligent, and digital development of Pan Asia.
After the signing ceremony, the two sides also launched a salon attended by a large number of technical experts.
Fu Xiangyang, a senior manager at Pan Asia shared the company’s innovative moves in automobile industry, followed by startups from Zhangjiang introducing the latest technologies in fields such as new materials, exchanging ideas with Pan Asia’s engineers.
The two sides will continue to organize innovation-driven activities in auto and other sectors to advance the development of those industries.
Founded in 1997, Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center is a joint venture of General Motors and SAIC Motor. It focuses on the R&D of auto technology and auto design and has kept pursuing innovation. Its cooperation with Zhangjiang Incubator Management is considered an innovative move for its own benefit.
Zhangjiang Incubator Management is now running seven incubators focusing on integrated circuits, software and information services, cultural creation, and information technology industries. Over the past decade, it has incubated more than 2,500 enterprises and raised funds of nearly 10 billion yuan ($1.5 billion).
