Japanese company leader visits Pudong
A delegation from Japan's Mori Building, a leading urban landscape developer, led by its President and CEO Shingo Tsuji visited Shanghai's Pudong New Area on July 20.
Mori Building is the developer of Shanghai World Financial Center, an iconic landmark located in Pudong's Lujiazui area.
The center that was open to the public in 2008 integrates offices, sightseeing facilities, hotels, commercial facilities, and venues for large-scale events.
Since its development it has proved one of the most popular tourist sites in Pudong and attracts in excess of 1 million visitors every year.
Weng Zuliang, Party secretary of Pudong, met with the visiting Japanese guests and expressed a warm welcome from Pudong. Weng stated that the area constantly encourages companies from home and abroad to come and expand business.
Weng vowed that the district will work harder to create a dynamic international-friendly business environment and provide better services for companies doing business in the Pudong area.
