Waigaoqiao Global Hub in Pudong New Area has expanded its "Silk Road E-commerce" network to 20 countries, recently adding Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates. This expansion strengthens its role in connecting consumers with high-quality international products.

The Vietnam center focuses on Southeast Asian goods, while the UAE center features Middle Eastern items like gold jewelry, traditional crafts, fragrances, and luxury chocolates, offering consumers a rich cultural shopping experience.

Waigaoqiao offers comprehensive services to help international brands enter the Chinese market. This includes services related to product entry, display, sales, warehousing, and distribution.

The Global Hub employs a model combining national pavilions, specialty products, and scenario-based marketing to create a vibrant international trade ecosystem. It seamlessly integrates display, transaction, experience, and promotion to facilitate global business connections. In addition to product promotion, the Global Hub fosters cross-border business through various events.

In 2025, the Global Hub added seven new centers from partner countries under the Silk Road E-commerce initiative, helping them extend business into investment, education, and cultural tourism.

At the 2025 CIIE U-Fair, dubbed a "mini CIIE", Waigaoqiao showcased products from nearly 20 countries and regions, turning global exhibits into commercial products.

Waigaoqiao Global Hub aims to enhance operations, foster new consumption models, and create integrated commercial and cultural experiences. By enriching the supply of high-quality overseas products and optimizing supply chains, it plans to strengthen the "CIIE Ecosystem" and better meet consumer needs.
