Shanghai Data Exchange grows to be an international data hub
Shanghai Data Exchange's international zone, marking its second anniversary, has emerged as a pivotal platform for cross-border data exchange, attracting over 30 international data merchants and listing nearly 200 data products.
The zone has pioneered an "international data broker agency model", introducing unique resources like Stream Hatchet's esports data analysis and Speeda's global supply chain intelligence, while aiding local enterprises in compliant data exports.
Collaborations with Amazon Web Services, Neudata, and others have formed a robust "technical interface + data merchant network" for seamless data transmission.
Recognized by global firms such as Uzabase and Stream Hatchet, the zone offers a low-threshold, efficient, and legally secure pathway for data transactions. It has also actively participated in formulating international and domestic data standards, enhancing China's role in global digital rule-making.
As the digital economy continues to grow, Shanghai Data Exchange's international zone is poised to lead in innovation, fostering an open and inclusive data trading ecosystem.
