Shanghai College Students' Innovation Competition opens for global registration
The Shanghai College Students' Innovation Competition has opened registration for college students around the world.
Registration is open to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in domestic and foreign colleges and universities (including vocational colleges and universities), individuals who graduated during 2019 or later, as well as students of the National Open University.
This year's competition is divided into six categories, organized respectively by six universities in Shanghai — biomedicine by Fudan University; artificial intelligence, science and technological finance by Shanghai Jiao Tong University; cultural creativity and industrial innovation by Tongji University; new generation information technology by East China Normal University; new energy, material and environmental protection by Shanghai University; and high-end equipment manufacturing by University of Shanghai for Science and Technology.
Each category consists of a creative group and an entrepreneurial group. Creative group submissions should be unlisted products with market value, and entrepreneurial group projects should have high scientific and technological innovation values or mature products and service models.
Applications are open until April 8, 2025, following which the winning team will be selected through online assessment and on-site presentations and debates.
The first and second-prize winners will participate in the China International College Students' Innovation Competition. All winning projects have the opportunity to receive financial support.
