Located in Waigaoqiao, Pudong New Area, the "one hub, one world" project plays a crucial role in the display and trading of products year-round. It aims to capitalize on the China International Import Expo (CIIE) and provide residents with a one-stop shopping experience without needing to travel abroad.
As the New Year's shopping season approaches, the regional centers of the Waigaoqiao "one hub, one world", representing different countries, have organized a New Year market. This market showcases imported goods from various regions, including Oceania, Europe, and Asia, as well as products exhibited at the CIIE.
Leveraging the CIIE, Timor-Leste's coffee has expanded into the Chinese market. At the first China-Portuguese Speaking Countries Economic and Trade Expo (Macau) held this year, Timor-Leste's highland Arabica coffee beans stood out in the Portuguese-speaking countries' coffee bean selection competition.
The Caucasus region is known for its delicious wines, many of which can be found at the market.
In addition, there are various specialty items from different countries around the world. These include Syrian rose essential oil, olive soap, and rose tea. There are also exquisitely crafted gemstone and copper products from Pakistan, aesthetically pleasing and innovative crystal products from the Czech Republic, alpaca products from Peru, natural wild sea buckthorn juice from Mongolia, and traditional handmade dry sausages from France.
