320-meter skyscraper in Zhangjiang topped off

The east tower of the "gate of science", a new landmark in Zhangjiang, located in the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone, was topped off on Oct 24. So far, two iconic 320-meter towers of the "gate of science" have been roofed.
The project consists of eight skyscrapers with a combined floor area of 1.36 million square meters. Construction is scheduled to be completed in 2025.

It is designed to be a central business district with a cultural center, a conference and exhibition, a commercial complex, hotels and apartments.
The east tower comprises a 59-story office building, a three-story cultural building, a four-story commercial building and a 25-story hotel.
