Shanghai innovation and entrepreneurship competition starts in Zhangjiang
The 2019 "Startup in Shanghai" international innovation and entrepreneurship competition officially started at the Zhangjiang International Innovation Harbour in Pudong New Area, Shanghai, on Mar 7.
Entrepreneurs and enterprises from all over the world brought their scientific and technological innovative solutions and showed how cutting-edge technologies would promote production and economic and social development.
The competition covered multiple fields, including the internet of things, biomedicine, smart campuses, smart exhibitions and smart transportation.
Many enterprises from the Zhangjiang National Innovation Demonstration Zone took part in the event.
Ruff, a company focused on the R&D and application of IoT operating system, for example, brought its new face tracking and voice recognition product, which can judge users' satisfaction by capturing their expressions and sounds.
Under the guidance of the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission, the event was co-organized by Kungfu international incubator, which is supported administratively by the management committee of the Shanghai Zhangjiang Hi-tech Park and technically by Microsoft China.
More than 1,800 enterprises in the Pudong New Area signed up for this year's competition.
