The Shanghai Art Museum is offering a 108-yuan ($16) joint ticket through Oct 7, covering two major exhibitions: A House of Nobility: Aesthetics and Cultivation of Life in the Mawangdui Han Tombs and a multimedia version of the renowned scroll painting Qingming Shanghe Tu (Along the River During the Qingming Festival).

A House of Nobility: Aesthetics and Cultivation of Life in the Mawangdui Han Tombs features treasures unearthed from the Mawangdui Han Tombs in Central China's Hunan province. It offers a glimpse into aristocratic life during the Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 220).

Described as the most significant off-site display of Mawangdui artifacts in over half a century, the exhibition showcases hundreds of precious artifacts from the Han Dynasty, including lacquerware, exquisite silk fabrics, and rare silk paintings.

The artifacts provide insights into the life of Xin Zhui, wife of the Marquis of Dai, and her family more than 2,000 years ago.

The T-shaped painting on silk unearthed from Mawangdui Han Tomb No 1 in 1972 is among the first group of Chinese cultural relics prohibited from being exhibited abroad. This treasure will remain on display through Aug 16.

Starting Aug 18, another T-shaped painting on silk from Tomb No 3 will be added to the exhibition. The painting is older, larger, and richer in content.

The digital presentation brings the renowned scroll painting to life through digital technology, recreating the bustling urban life of the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127).

The joint ticket is only valid from Tuesday to Friday. Visitors can purchase it by searching for "千金之家" (A House of Nobility) on the Damai platform.
