Pudong lights up city with spectacular shows and cultural marvels
Pudong New Area illuminated the night sky as the second Shanghai International Light Festival kicked off its Pudong sub-venue on Sept 27. Eighteen dazzling spots across the district showcased a fusion of art and technology, celebrating Pudong's 35 years of development.
Themed on light of technology, the sub-venue in Pudong features a light matrix with Zhangjiang Science City as its core. Visitors can enjoy immersive light shows, blending cutting-edge visuals with stories of innovation.

Throughout the month, Pudong will transform into a vibrant hub, linking 10 major commercial districts and six cultural landmarks. Events include drone light shows at Century Park, AI-powered multimedia displays at the Museum of Art Pudong, and extended nighttime hours with discounted tickets.
