To welcome the citywide Global Taste in Shanghai 2026 program, Pudong New Area will launch a wide array of events, bringing together food lovers from around the world for an unforgettable culinary feast.

Global Taste in Shanghai is a year-round program built around four quarterly culinary themes. From January to March, the program opens with a European flavor season. From April to June, the spotlight will shift to cuisine inspired by the Americas. Asian flavors will take center stage from July to September, while "flavors without borders" will be the theme from October to December.

In addition, monthly events will highlight cuisines from specific countries or regions, with special festivities held during the Spring Festival holiday. Global cuisine will be integrated with cultural performances and exhibitions, providing an exciting array of offerings.

Pudong will be responsible for organizing the Asian cuisine portion from July to September, which will feature a lineup of international food events such as a global wine competition, tea and wine cultural festival, K-food night market, and fruit festival marketplace.

During the Spring Festival period and the following weeks, festival dining and gift vouchers will be distributed in Pudong from Jan 30 to March 5. Meanwhile, a weekly global food guide will be released, featuring additional discounts from participating merchants.

Coinciding with the carnival during the Spring Festival in Pudong, international cuisine tastings and food recommendation events will be held, alongside the debut of new consumption opportunities and tours of five major shopping areas at the carnival.

Throughout the year-long program, Pudong will offer curated culinary routes and host a short-video campaign. By partnering with entities such as the Lujiazui Coffee Festival and the Museum of Art Pudong, the program aims to further enrich the culinary experience.
