The 39th Shanghai Spring International Music Festival will captivate audiences from March 22 to April 14.

The festival promises a rich mosaic of music and dance, reflecting China's vast musical legacy and Shanghai's vibrant cultural milieu.

This year, the festival will boast 66 performances - 57 musical concerts and nine dance spectacles, complemented by 10 other specially-curated activities.

Pudong will serve as a key venue, hosting 13 performances and a special event, set to liven up the area with diverse melodies.

The festival's international appeal is enriched by over 20 acts from across the globe, including Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Russia, the United States, and Japan, accounting for more than a third of the total performances.

Expanding its geographic scope for the first time, the festival is collaborating with Wuxi city in Jiangsu province and Taizhou city in Zhejiang province to enhance regional cultural cohesion within the Yangtze River Delta.

Dedicated to community outreach, the festival features public events, educational talks, and spontaneous "flash mob" performances, making the arts more accessible. Innovative ticketing options, such as complimentary and discounted tickets, ensure broader community participation.

The Shanghai Spring International Music Festival stands as a symbol of artistic excellence and cultural exchange, inviting all to embrace and celebrate the resonance of a new musical era.
