The latest technologies and inventions from around the world are slated to be exhibited at the 7th China (Shanghai) International Technology Fair (CSITF) from April 18 to 20.

The three-day fair, held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, will showcase leading technologies in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI), energy conservation, environmental protection, and biomedicine in five exhibition areas.

Saarland in Germany and Liverpool in the United Kingdom will serve as the guest cities of honor at this year's event, while the United States and Canada will make their debut by bringing with them the most advanced technologies in AI and intelligent healthcare.

For the very first time, an exhibition hall featuring intelligent service robots will be set up to display the latest scientific and technological achievements in information technology and intelligent manufacturing.

A series of forums and matchmaking activities on different topics will also be held during the event, which is one of the four largest state-level exhibitions in China.

Unlike the Beijing International Fair for Trade in Services and the China Import and Export Fair, the CSITF will focus exclusively on trading the latest technology.
