Shanghai’s East Coast to greet the public soon

The project of creating a public space at the East Coast of Huangpu River is to be completed by the end of 2017, according to a news report published on Pudong website on Dec 29.

Workers are now leaving no stones unturned at the construction site and aiming to finish the construction of the 22-kilometre long public space before 2018.

Pudong launched the project of establishing the public space in 2015. The project involves a length of 22-kilometer long section spanning from Yangpu Bridge to Xupu Bridge. The total area amounts to 220 hectares.

Until now, the construction of Binjiang Greenland of Lujiazui, Qiantan Park and other public spaces totaling 10 kilometers have been finished and have opened to the public.

Moreover, the construction of the front 5-kilometer long section from Yangpu Bridge to Pudong South Road has also completed and gone into use.
