Global innovation hub determined to expand

High-tech products showcased at national-level fair, boosting recognition, Wang Hongyi reports from Shanghai.

Shanghai has vowed to build itself into a global hub for innovation in science and technology, having rolled out a number of high-tech products in recent years.

To this end, the city's Zhangjiang National Innovation Demonstration Zone has played an important part in innovation in a series of fields.

A number of the latest advanced technologies and products in the sectors of internet information technology, intellectual chips, advanced equipment manufacturing and medical equipment from Zhangjiang displayed at the recent China (Shanghai) International Technology Fair held last month attracted public attention.
