Japan Solderless Terminal (JST), a leader in precision connector manufacturing, has opened its China distribution headquarters in Shanghai's Waigaoqiao Bonded Area.
Following the establishment of its China operation headquarters, the new opening marks a key milestone in JST's 30-year presence in China, enhancing its localization and supply chain capabilities.
With nearly 70 years in the connector industry, JST's products are used in sectors such as automotive, electronics, and aerospace. Since setting up in Waigaoqiao, JST Shanghai has evolved from a production site to a comprehensive hub for marketing, R&D, and distribution.
The new facility, spanning 6,200 square meters, features advanced logistics systems that improve space utilization and efficiency, reduce costs, and meet growing import-export demands.
The new headquarters will streamline customs and distribution across China and the Asia-Pacific, providing better support to key sectors such as automotive electronics and smart manufacturing.
