Pudong's AI industry currently boasts an output exceeding 160 billion yuan ($22.28 billion), accounting for roughly 40 percent of Shanghai's total, with over 200 vertical model-related companies operating in the area. Among them, 28 large-scale AI models have completed registration or filing procedures. Pudong's intelligent computing capacity makes up nearly half of Shanghai's total.

To propel future growth, Pudong will enhance resource support and fusion capabilities, focusing on breakthroughs in underlying AI technologies and the development of real-world applications.

Key initiatives include opening over 30 real-world applications and establishing China's first heterogeneous humanoid robot training ground. A public data authorization platform is set to launch soon.

Financial support will be strengthened through a comprehensive fund matrix covering all enterprise stages and a dedicated leasing company for AI industries.

Policy incentives will encourage large-scale AI model applications, humanoid robot innovation, and major project constructions. Additionally, Pudong will offer high-quality talent services, including 2 million square meters of low-rent spaces for youth innovation and entrepreneurship.

The Pudong AI Seed Fund, with a total scale of 2 billion yuan and an initial phase of 500 million yuan, was also launched for the purpose of investing in innovative talent and cutting-edge technologies.
