Enjoy stunning autumn scenery in Pudong
The culture and tourism department of Pudong in East China's Shanghai launched a number of rural tourism routes during this year's Shanghai Tourism Festival, which lasted for more than 20 days from Sept 17 to Oct 6.
These medium-distance trips featured road trips, sightseeing and homestays, and were designed to tap into local cultural and agricultural resources and boost economic growth. They also offered visitors a chance to admire the charm and beauty of the villages in Pudong, and provided an immersive experience in Jiangnan water towns.
Here are some recommended places to visit.
Tips: Due to COVID-19 control and prevention requirements, online ticket reservations are required. Tourists should learn about the epidemic prevention measures required by tourist attractions in advance, and make appointments before their visits.
