Zhangjiang Science City sets out to enhance its medical quality
Shanghai Municipal Commission of Health and Family Planning will take a series of measures to set and plan medical institutes in Zhangjiang Science City, according to a news report published on Pudong's website on Jan 15.
Moreover, the commission will set forth strict rules to reach the international level.
The plan will take the industrial distribution and industry planning of Zhangjiang Science City into consideration and promote the joint development of health insurance, biological medicine, and rehabilitation nursing.
Efforts will also be made to improve the health standard of communities around the Science City, for example the function of comprehensive public hospital will be improved and the needs of proper medical treatment will be satisfied.
The plan also set about ensuring the basic medical treatment and public health and meanwhile the Science City will aim towards a high-end, high leveled, diverse and international medical treatment quality.
The chief aim is to improve the health of Pudong people. In order to achieve this goal, Pudong will try to realize the city and countryside integration, revolutionize policies regarding public health and community sanitation and develop medical talents and improve the quality of medical education.
The commission will try to develop the quality of hardware, such as establishing a comprehensive medical center, pushing forward the development of Zhoupu hospital and setting community health service institutions.
The science city now owns some hospitals, some using the technology of proton heavy ion, and some specialized in curing tumor.
Now a center specialized in promoting health of the children has been listed into the plans, ensuring the health of the children.
